Good questions
Before you begin.
Why add an outdoor lesson to home training?
Homes are calm. Streets are not. Practicing both helps skills hold up in real life. Every home and dog is different, so use this as a starting point and ask the trainer about your own situation.
What gear should I bring?
Your dog on a standard leash with a flat collar or harness, plus treats and water. Skip retractable leashes.
What if my dog gets overexcited outside?
A trainer starts at a distance where your dog can still think, then moves closer in small steps.
Are there places that need permission?
Parks have posted rules. Check them before a lesson and stay with leash requirements.
Where do I find more detail on pricing?
The programs page lists every range side by side, and each range is a general estimate. Always ask for the full cost in writing.
